Do you really think there would be a large number of people who would be willing to uproot their lives to move to a state where a secessionist movement was proving successful?

I think most people wish something will change even when they believe the political processes for making the wished for changes are in a state of desperation. I'd be really surprised if a mass migration occurred because a state effectively told the Federal government to "get lost".

As far as gold goes, I never really understood the mentality for wanting to own it. If ya can't eat it, wear it, or be sheltered by it, what good is it?
