That hardly explains the unsold Athlons AMD had left over in Q4. Clearly MHz alone didn't sell.

EP, if things were as bad at AMD as you try so desperately to make out on this thread, do you really think that AMD would be able to preannounce an upside to this quarter's earnings.

And the truth is is that it doesn't matter how many chips AMD had in inventory at the end of Q4. AMD has announced midway thru Q1 that it is expecting a much better quarter than previously projected. So if you need to grind an AMD axe, find a new one!! The old one is getting very boring (not unlike MIA-thlon) and is only making you look stupid.
