Hi Niceguy767, he must be a (semi)CON ARTIST. Forgive him. He barely can afford the SI dues, and is eager to
be of service for his company and his poorly performing
stock options. Very understandable. And never mind,
it was just his first attempt :) (especially with
the report on fab22 and reverse osmosis watering
system). And how convenient is the "ignore" button
- head into sand, and all problems are gone!

Of course it would be desirable to have 2- 4- and
8-way Athlon systems by now in production, but we
all understand how limited AMD resources are,
especially if compared to Intel's famous R&D.
Again, the systems engineering area is relatively
new to AMD, and they have no experience in SMP yet.
Hence it is easy to understand why AMD is relying
on third-parties in these areas. So far the 1-P
Irongate seems to be a good "enabing" technology.

Regards,
- Ali
