I have spoken to a few people that have left LU/ASND recently and the picture painted was not rosy. A certain amount of turnover is to be expected but I am told that a lot of good people have left after 1 year.

This is not a indictment of LU. The lure of big time options is hard for an LU/NT to combat. Not even CSCO is immune as they have suffered some big losses too. Indeed I was told they (CSCO) have made huge (million +$$) offers to entice people back that have recently left. I was also told that CSCO managers have been given 50-100% more options to offer workers at review time in an effort to staunch the drain.

The best in the Valley believe JNPR has a better chance at $100 billion (+400%) than CSCO does at $700 billion (+100%) or LU at 500 billion in the next few years. Who can blame them?
