Thanks Jerry - I did see that message, and turned off the tickers and other extraneous datafeeds during active trading sessions. Hard to tell, but it does look like it made a difference.

I really haven't gotten a "freeze", except during the times when the whole internet seems slow to me (even with a cable modem) - for example, the around 3:30-4:00 PM seems to be a bad time around here for overall internet response time - I guess that's when everyone gets home from school and starts logging on.

What I see happening is that quotes start to stream in bunches, rather than smoothly. For a couple of seconds, everything will stop, and then just as quickly, a whole bunch of trades will hit at once.

On another note - I don't see much mention of the Mytrack /AIQ tandem. Right now I use Supercharts for my end of day charting. Since I plan on using Mytrack for daytrading and not position /swing trading, it didn't seem to be much use to me. Have you found the mytrack / AIQ combo valuable?
