Front page of today's WSJ international section: Japanese INET investment company Softbank and a unit of the World Bank said they will invest 500 million in Internet start-ups in developing nations. The International Finance Corp., the World Bank's private-sector-investing arm, and softbank will set up a joint venture to provide technological, legal and management support to Internet entrepreneurs in the developing world. The joint venture, called Softbank Emerging Markets, plans to unveil its first subsidiary in May.
