Stew, I would like to thank you for all of the insight and knowledge that you have contributed toward a fuller understanding of GMST. It is without equal and is much appreciated by me and I am sure many others.

On another point, and just for the general information of the thread, I am posting a link to Tom Dorsey's Point and Figure thread where a poster inquired about her position in GMST. Dorsey's response is the post immediately following (says to hold). Although TA is seldom discussed here I didn't think it would hurt to post this for anyone interested.

Thanks again for your many contributions!

Stew: I have just finished reading (in the March issue of WIRED MAGAZINE) the article entitled TV or not TV. It is an article about Rupert Murdoch's BSkyB interactive tv market using a Sun set-top strategy. I am not informed enough to understand the implications of the article with respect to GMST. Can you help me understand? Does Murdoch's plan and strategy in any way depend on Gemstar technology? I understand that Thompson is involved. Any insight will be appreciated. Please answer on the thread for the benefit of us all.
Thanks.
