Looks like merger mania will hit Canadian forest products, oil and gas and mining companies. This should really kickstart the TSE since it's so heavily weighted with these types of stocks.

I think as long as palladium stays up there it will add support to the other metals. Traders will be scared to short the other metaks too much if palladium is over $600.
