Gilder predicts 2001 the year CSCO will lose market share and will show it on their earnings. He thought the purchase of cerent was a terrible purchase for a one product company with nothing in the pipelines, whose one products would be technologically obsolete in two years.I did not sell CSCO based on his report but have a lot of respect for his vision. One can also argue, had someone bought Qcom in 97 they would have not seen much financial gains in early 98.
