From R.Bull;

FWIW, Tyco IR just returned my call and denied that there was any settlement of the IDT lawsuit. The gentleman from IR was not evasive and went out of his way to emphasize this.

From his tone, the indication was that Tyco has no intention of settling this.

The company does NOT deny it. In the past when I have called with rumors they have denied them if not true. In this case, they are not commenting one way or the other. Indeed, acted coy and said they probably wouldn't know until 5 minutes before something like this were announced.
