LU & CSCO claims they are hot on the heels of NT for the optical market. Yet the only investment announcement I hear to ramp up optics mfg capacity is from NT who has already announced 3 separate optics mfg capacity upgrade investments in the past 6 months. What this tells me is that NT is still cleaning up in the hot optics market, LU is still struggling and CSCO is NOWHERE to be found other than buying two-bit players (Pirelli). Real customer contracts and NT's aggressive optics investment plans are better proof that NT is winning the optics war when compared to LU and CSCO's PR releases.
