Kelso Technologies Inc - Kelso not involved with Internet chat rooms Kelso Technologies Inc KLS Shares issued 18,375,000 2000-02-11 close $0.07 Monday Feb 14 2000 Mr. Stephen Grossman reports It has been brought to Kelso's attention that over the last few weeks various chat rooms have been discussing Kelso Technologies Inc. and its current JS75 SRV Valve project and, in some instances, have reported that the Kelso stock should close above 10 cents. Stephen Grossman, president and chief executive officer of Kelso, is disturbed over these reports. The company cannot control what is or is not being said over the Internet. Though Mr. Grossman acknowledges that some of the reports are of a very positive nature, he wants to make it clear that neither Kelso nor any of its officers or directors have participated in any way, nor advised anyone to begin a chat string on the various chat lines. Kelso is pleased to see the stock volume increasing over the last few weeks, but there is no real reason that Kelso can pinpoint at this time for the increase or price movement in its stock. Kelso has always had a rigid policy that individuals who call Kelso are provided with the latest up-to-the-minute news, whether good or bad. It is not Kelso's policy to make a news release unless there has been a material change or a major negotiation taking place. Kelso does not believe in hyping its stock, but does believe in keeping the public informed as current news events takes place. Therefore, due to the unexpected, tremendous volume and movement of the stock price, Kelso wants to make it perfectly clear that it has not participated in, nor will it ever participate in, chat rooms on the Internet. Thus, Kelso advises that a prospective investor should first contact the company to receive the latest information. As an update, Kelso is now in discussion with approximately five companies in trying to arrange to secure 30 general purpose tank cars for the required Association of American Railroads Service Trials.
