Zwebner announced today that the company has entered into a definitive agreement with Motion Media Plc for mass marketing in the United States and Canada of a unique customized Talk Visual high tech product: The revolutionary new Video Telephone.
Motion Media of Bristol, U.K., are the inventors, designers and producers of the Talk Visual MM225, the latest state-of-the-art ISDN desktop video-telephone. The unit provides for near full-motion video/audio communications in full color, with easy, rapid set-up, for desk-top or external TV use.
The Talk Visual MM225 carries a host of features which make the video telephone completely reliable, easy to use and simple to install. The MM225 comes with a full-color 5`` diagonal video screen, and allows for instantaneous video-telephony to any ISDN or analog video-codec system worldwide. The company estimates that over 500,000 video-codec systems are distributed throughout the world, all of which can be called by the Talk Visual MM225.
The product, which conforms to the H.320 international standard, is designed for desktop use. It functions on the same low-cost ISDN line as a regular analog telephone, obviating the need for extra line installation or an additional analog telephone instrument. The Talk Visual MM225 can be readily plugged into a large-screen television for business and family conference calls.
According to Mr. Zwebner, ``the company has tested units from many providers. Consumer and business users in North America may request the MM225 Comprehensive Program. The Comprehensive Program provides ISDN service installation (over an existing phone line or with installation arranged for an additional ISDN configured line) and a service contract. The three-year service contract provides consumers and business users with a low initial down payment of only $100, and 36 monthly payments of about $36. Without service contract, the Talk Visual 225 model retails for $1599 USD.
ISDN service will be procured and arranged by the company at no additional charge, except for local telco installation fees, in conjunction with a three-year service agreement.
