It's getting harder to find undervalued fiber optic companies. But here are two indirect plays, funny enough value as well as momentum plays: MTP & JOE. MTP is a boring coal-fired power company that happens to own a subsidiary with the largest fiber optic cable line in the West. JOE is a former paper company, now reconfiguring into a huge Florida land development company with very large ambitions, that happens to own a small Florida railroad that happens to own a major fiber optic cable line that runs down Florida's spine. Both cos. are considering spin-offs.

<FiberCore, Inc. is a fully reporting company>

Are they in the process of becoming Nasdaq compliant?
I'm showing them as a bulletin board stock.
