It's possible that the rupture of the tech bubble will be initiated by fund rotation into value, not the other way around. In this scenario, energy would move before and during a tech collapse, not only after.

As for the OSX; if it warms up to the OPEC decision and takes off from there, '00 might be a repeat of '99 - beginning, middle, and end.

The monkey in the wrench of the OSX - a virtually guaranteed correction in oil prices - dims in its importance each day the producers bathe in the revenue of >$25 oil. At some point, $12 oil will be a forgotten memory.
