NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Put the "pedal to the metal" when it comes to investing
in wireless telecommunications, said Bryan Piskorowski, market strategist at
Prudential Securities Inc.

Piskorowski expects the cellular sector to run at a compounded annual growth
rate of 40%, and the number of handsets rising to over 1 billion from 450
million by 2002, "if not sooner," he said in a CNBC interview Monday.

"We want to position ourselves in this area," Piskorowski said, and
recommended Motorola Inc. (MOT), Nokia Corp. (NOK) and L.M. Ericsson Telephone
Co. (ERICY).

He also suggested those companies that build chips for cell phones, like
Anadigics Inc. (ANAD) and Alpha Industries Inc. (AHAA).

Piskorowski sees a "strong" story in both Dell Computer Corp. (DELL) and
Microsoft Corp. (MSFT). Dell's growth will be fueled by PC demand in the second
half of 2000 while Microsoft will be driven by Windows 2000 and the CE Palm
Computer platform.
