Well.. your criticism is reasonable, and I apologize to Mr. Bond for laughing. I am certainly not changing my opinion concerning the issue, but it is not my wish to offend or hurt feelings.

I agree that courtesy is an important quality often overlooked on the internet.

I do not offer the following as an excuse for being rude, but as contrast within the context of this subject.

There have been many posters here in the last month or so that stormed the board shouting down EDIG and making short sharp, and often rude remarks to folks here. I have little comment on their actions.

But there have been several others who have raised quite reasonable questions about the company and it's future. These folks have been treated as terribly as many longs were by those rude shorts. So as long as we are talking about lack of courtesy damaging the credibility of a poster, I simply want to point out that it works both ways, and I have seen it from both camps. What's good for the goose...

regards and apologies to Bond,
cAPSLOCK

Mike,

You may have misinterpreted my post. The sentiments of cAPSLOCK to which I referred were the analogy of EDIG to AOL/TW. My laughter at cAPSLOCK should not be interpreted at me laughing at his opinions. Rather, I was laughing at the wit present by cAPSLOCK. Laughter is surely not equitable to ones support for a comment as exemplified by laughter at stand up comedians who mock those things found socially valuable.

Manners left this board long ago. Long before the shorts ever came to this forum. You can thank several of the longs for the that.

If R.Bond was insulted by my laughing at cAPSLOCK's wit, I apologize. Yet, I would also suggest that he step out of his shoes and imagine reading the very same correspondence but between different individuals. I think most people would find the exchange fairly comical simply do to the oddity of the event discussed. It's good to be able to laugh at ourselves or the circumstances we are surrounded by. Furthermore, I would encourage you to let others defend themselves. Being overly sensitive on the behalf of others has negative political and social consequences (primarily regarding representative factors and the impact of overall social appearance of a culture's true stance). I will not delve further but to say that R.Bond may have chuckled at the comment himself (the pokeman comment).

Thanks for your otherwise kind comments.

Good luck in your investments,

Chris
