Johnd, The most puzzling trading in MSFT that I have seen in a long time. I suspect the selling will just dry out at some point in a day or maybe 2 days. I just wonder if options expiration has anything to do with the volume.

Waiting for this high volume trading to come to an end. I still like the fact that the negative news appears to be out there already. The actual announcement might cause a major pop in the MSFT and others that will benefit such as Intel.

Another point I would make is that those who wanted out of MSFT due to legal problems probably sold this stock when the fact finding was issued by the judge in the DOJ case. This recent news does not seem like a big deal in comparison to that. In any case, I expect the stock to make a major reversal ahead of the launch of W2K.
