hi,
i've been trading (and investing<G>)in stocks for many years, but have not had any experience in bonds. i recently inherited a "student loan marketing asscoc." bond that yields 5.875% and is not due until 10/1/2007!!! i assume i can sell this bond....do i do this through my broker? will i be able to sell it at the "present value" listed by the bank that had held the account? my broker is not in today so i thought i would enlist the great minds on this board!
thanks in advance for any information on this subject!
