Semiconeng - There are few things as beautiful to a stock holder to behold as a sold out semiconductor manufacturer running flat out to meet demand. What a honey of an earnings picture that provides. And the good news you provided about the high end is a prologue (I hope) to a flood of powerhouse chips coming out of Intel this year. Probably upwards of 35 million processors this quarter is my guess. Keep up reporting (especially the good news). Regards, Burt

A Million per week, from 1 Fab. Ya know, it sure makes me "Worried" (Cough) about those 1 Million Athlons that AMD shipped last Quarter.... Not> If you ever lurk over on the AMD thread, you know I take regular drubbings for my stance on Cumine production. SemiConEng, <Achieving Our First 1,000,000 CopperMine Shipment Week WW07> Can it be true? One million Coppermines from a single fab in a week? I'll bet some people, most notably on the AMD thread, will misinterpret that quote to mean, "Achieving our one millionth Coppermine shipment WW07." Now that would definitely fit into the false picture that the AMDroids paint of Intel. So with four 0.18u fabs ramping up Coppermines as we speak, with a fifth coming online soon, does that mean we'll quickly move into an oversupply condition? God, I hope not. Tenchusatsu
