So what does BCF results mean.
I've been following BCF Butlington Coat Factory as they are using redhat and applix to do company wide enterprise. So if Linux is good and using with applix creates efficiency then one would expect the company to do better with better margins as tech reduces cost at least. This was anounced many moons ago in a applix pr release.

Net sales for the third quarter ended Feb. 26, 2000 were $693.8 million compared with $587.0 million for the prior year period, an 18 percent increase.

During the third quarter comparative store sales of coats increased 11 percent. The total coat inventory as of Feb. 26, 2000 was down 31 percent over the prior year.

So I would love to find out how BCF reduced inventory cost by 31%. This if applixian is the B2B PR story of gold.
