That's exactly my point: there's an even better reason to use Solaris because SUNW doesn't have that problem. It's a problem for NT by your own admission. It's rubbish for the 24x7 e-commerce site who wants full RAS capability not so many useless excuses from the vendor. Perhaps M$FT should get into the HARDWARE business so they can have more control over their configurations and develop high- quality solutions instead of the trash they pander. NT is a piece of junk masquerading as an O/S. It'll never fly. Microsoft has ALWAYS been the great savior for the office-systems crowd. Ever since the 80's. They haven't changed a bit since then.
