Bruce, CREE may have "held it's own" but the real spike up in prices started late last Fall. Out of curiosity I checked 1999 posts on the CREE thread looking for some of the regular names on G&K. Robert Jacobs was in early, UncleWest posted in June, then Down South in November. Down South was mostly responsible for getting my in. I started buying and posting in December. This year there's been a big increase in posts both on Cree thread and G&K by many of the same people. There's probably a correlation between the runup and the posts. This maybe is a "chicken or the egg" discussion, or it could be all coincidence. It's not worth much thread space because there's no way to prove what led to what. There's nothing like a rising stock price to create interest.
BTW, I'm a big opera fan.
