Greg, have you tried takin the lil ball out and clean it with warm soapy water? When my mouse is dirty it acts that way. It is easy to take out and replace when clean. Good luck (bad mousey) LOL, Dep

its the inferior OS and hardware you're using. never had any problems w/ my mouse on my mac G4 w/ OS 9. course, some folks just like to drive a gremlin. V talks about the conspiracy of mm's. a much broader and insidious conspiracy is the foisting of windoze and peecees on the masses. its unconscionable.
