The perception that the market isn't going anywhere anymore is enough for many people to quit, given that its time-consuming. If the rewards aren't there, why not get a life and do something more interesting? Especially if you have a day job and a family.

i agree...the trigger may well be something that looks harmless in isolation.
btw. we never remarked on the fact that the biggest U.S. export item in the last trade report was gold...that's mighty funny. someone's making off with the gold again.
