"We are not deploying or building products that use DDR in the mobile or desktop space. It [DDR] is too late, too little, it doesn't work and it doesn't fit in the desktop," he [Gelsinger] said.

If I had to point to any one reason for today, I'll bet this would be it. No competition left as PC133 fades into the twilight. This may be a really, really good week.

The last Island transaction was at 118, and frankly, I would be surprised if it does not breach $130 tomorrow, a lot of momentum and it is not yet a record volume trading day. I am going on a limb with a short term target of $167 within the next six weeks on RMBS. If Hitachi yields and comes to the table on its knees, even more.
