Anyone: my 70 year old mother just navigated a voice menu via speech (she spelled her name, said her flight number, etc.) to find a lost bag on United Airlines phone service. She said she it was easy and was able to go through a number of levels to have her bag deliverd to her home.

Now, is that no big deal, or what? I thought the value of this technology was in voice *recognition*???

If it is important, who supplied the voice technology to UAL? Anyone?
