Pffft. Sun has been *more than good enough for longer than 'the moment'. Conversely, Microsoft has made toys and 'next versions' that will always promise, never deliver and never will.

Your opinion not withstanding, a great number of people have learned to equate Microsoft with Crap. However great W2K is, it's just Microsoft's latest version of Crap, anymore. People are looking elsewhere. That's just part of the Microsoft legacy; the market they're selling into.

If what you say is true about the quality of IHV ISV code, then M$ needs to better document their OS. That isn't going to happen is it?
