There have been periodic posts about it here, but itslate, so I will give the Reader's Digest version. I screen for about 10 technical indicators, including RSI, ROC, OBV, a specific stochastic known as laststoch (ok, so its not as cool a name as John's "Bollinger Band", but at least it was named after me) and a variety of others. One it meets all criteria, it makes the list and I pare it down to 20 at most. What one does is look at the chart, determine where the lower trendline would provide a good entry, and play it if the price incrementally rises on volume and or number of trades. however, if you want to trade to make some bucks to start, play the Gap strategy. its at my website under stocks (see initial post header for this thread. scott
