Re: Dan, it was not a record profit. Just a profit. I thought I'd warn you .... Thanks for the correction. I should have said near term record. Maybe it was the surprise that made it seem so significant... I've been following AMD as an investment for less than a year - really only got into it after reading the Rambus spec sheets and coming to the conclusion that all AMD had to do was to come close to Intel in the processor arena. For some reason, Intel upper management seems determined to ride Rambus down the toilet. The current situation wrt relative processor speeds is icing on the cake! Dan
