Re: "Holy Cimoli, didn't you just buy some AMD? Doesn't a million good anythings in one week make the competition look sick?"

According to the AMD thread, these are just lies. According to one poster:

"What crock of sh*t Elmer! What a sorry display of intelligence! Run rate of ne million Coppermine per week, from one fab, NO WAY!!!. It is absurd."

Now you see what I have to deal with trying to spread the faith...

Tony - <Holy Cimoli, didn't you just buy some AMD? Doesn't a million good anythings in one week make the competition look sick?<

Yes, and I believe I may get sick over my AMD investment.

We'll see. The main reason I bought it was I expected some upgrades after the upside revenue guidance that AMD gave last Friday. OK, that happened. But I also thought the stock would pop accordingly. Needless to say, it didn't, so now I have to either ride it a while, or bail.

Maybe buying AMD right before IDF wasn't such a good idea, even with the seemingly pre-emtive trump last Friday.

I want to reiterate, I DID NOT sell any Intel. I am very bullish on Intel's outlook this year and long term. I've been committing some risk cash to short to mid term trading "opportunitites" the last few weeks. Hasn't done squat though. Intel has done better than anything I've tried. Maybe I'm being punished for violating my own C of I tenets :-).
