It's not bad (the PAL Gold light), but not quite as neat a toy as I thought it would be. Four settings: off (well, really "always on," a very weak glow that lets you know where it is); regular (sort of like a weak normal flashlight); bright (like a strong and focused flashlight, but with a sharper, bluer white); and strobe (a short burst of the bright beam every couple of seconds). It's really compact, however, which is pretty cool. Don't know whether it uses Cree LED's or somebody else's; probably the latter.
