To see a jackass you need only look in the mirror are you only now realizing this? I am the greatest jackass of them all seriously, you can calculate your moving average any way that works for you the folks who rely on charts in professional circles prefer to use the exponential moving average in order to provide greater emphasis to more recent days... it makes sense to me... many different price movement scenarios to arrive at a given 50MA figure, so why not emphasize the recent days?... this is consistent with derived sentiment and perceived momentum moves pardon my sassy ways I am not a professional, except in being a jackass I have a degree in this pursuit I collect degrees, not enough room in the profile for complete citations cannot include psychology and finance degrees / JW
