Something tells me Intel will never accept that...

Agreed. This has been a pissing contest between Ole Andy and Jerry from way back. They both need to show everyone who has the bigger.... Ummm..... Chip. <G>

Jim, this message is not directed at you but all the INTC folks in general on this board. You know, I've been sitting here reading these posts for the last hour and it suddenly occurred to me. There is a lot of jealously on this board! I really don't know a lot about all that I've read here tonight. But I can't understand why there are so many Intel people over here arguing with AMD people. If AMD is so awful, why are so many of you concerned with wasting your time over on this board? Go back to your own board. I just bought some AMD last week, and the last thing I want to read about is how bad it is! I made a note to myself in November when AMD started an uptrend that I should buy, and darn-it, I finally did - only $14 higher than I should have! All I know is that I have an Intel Pentium processor in my computer at work. It's a piece of crap! It crashes all the time! I have to call maintenance on it all the time and they can't figure out what's wrong with it. I have an AMD K-5 in my computer at home. My brother-in-law built it for me 2 years ago. Never had a minute's problem with it. In fact, I just bought my parents a new computer last year for Christmas. It has an AMD K6 processor in it. They have never had a minutes problem with it. Great machine! Kind of reminds me of a Cadillac vs. a Honda. One costs a lot more, stays in the shop a lot, and runs like a piece of crap. The other one costs very little, never has to go to the shop, and just runs and runs and runs. Which one would you rather have? I think I'm pretty happy with my AMD investment! You INTC people need to get a grip. I don't think AMD will run you out of business in the next 10 or 20 years. There's enough room for everybody here.
