Exacctnt: MSFT Active Directory takes dead aim at Novelle so we can see Novelle's motivation in this. Gartner chimes in to try and recover from their last report which is beginning to be viewed as a sales pitch. I thought MSFT's response was timely and showed Novelle as not familiar enough wit W2K to be expert in it. More importantly it showed their claim to be fallacious. Nonetheless the damage is done as the reply from MSFT does not appear in the Headlines. JFD
