Robert - Great calls! Your posts point out the flip side of the "Yawn...no revenue" argument: that is, these deals are exclusionary in nature (though not exclusive), and represent future revenue-producing "turf" that will be increasingly difficult for competitors to enter.
I keep re-forecasting the revenues, but given wireless growth predictions for 2003, and assuming that Infowave has, by then, captured 5% of each market it's in, we're looking at hundreds of millions of dollars.
Not a wild estimate, by any means - that implies market share capture/adoption rates of less than 2% per year, from now to the end of 2003.
But if, as we have suggested, Infowave becomes a standard, then those adoption rates spike up - and so does revenue.
