Thanks for the info, Flickerful had pointed the site out as well, lots of info on Softbank. At the time Ingram and Softbank laid out their cooperative pact Softbank was a very different company, they have truly transformed themselves and have been richly rewarded with an explosive runup of their market cap. IMO Ingram was sorely undervalued before my understanding of the their Softbank holdings which only adds to a tremendous value play.

At the current price of $13.938 they are but $1.00 above Yahoo's stated book value, it doesn't include my estimated Softbank gain of $10.25 per share not to mention a PE of 11.62 and a float of only 40 million. IMO Ingram is too big not have the spot light and these numbers are too
impressive not to have an impact on it's market cap especially if their numbers come in better than expected. From all appearances and judging from the current valuations it doesn't look like the street is looking for much.

On another note, noticed that buy.com ( BUYX ) hasn't been received very well, perhaps it's being realized that this type of commerce will be just one more opportunity for the back end distributors to be major players. The logistics and infrastructure that would be required to replace the distributors would be more costly to build and maintain than to order from them. Compaq realized this and bought their own ( their purchase of ICO's dist )I'm willing to bet that they alone don't have the volume to support the division and the red ink flowing from that division has grown from a stream to a river. IMO it won't take long for CPQ to reverse it's stated goal of independence for the division, bring those operations into the fold and takes a big one for the mess.
