Maxtor, Western Digital and I believe HDD (Quantum) are all using RDRT 10gb/platter heads. They are all qualified at PC manufacturers and in full production.

Seagate announced a 10.2gb/platter drive but it is not in full production yet. I think Seagate is using its own heads. I have not been able to find another manufacturer of 10.2gb/platter heads but some of the head manufacturers are very quiet about their offerings.

Regards,
Mark
