dmB: you're a bright guy with a bunch of certificates hanging on your office wall, I'm sure. How is it you can take a thoughtful, well reasoned, informative post like Gersh's and just yell BTD in response?

Even a '90 Pahlmeyer can turn to vinegar, no?

dennis ..

I have owned Csco for years. You know what that has done.

congrats! I really mean that!

Now has the decision to own it been based on FA value or it's price? I'm sure that if the FA value were high but the price had just stayed put, you would not feel as well about your ownership of it. My point is that momentum is effecting everybody's decision about which stocks to own.

If momentum is the game then liquidity has to be taken into consideration.

It also concerns me greatly, that folks are getting used to these large daily swings in the market.

Now the good news is that (usually) when I post some BS like that this the market is about to skyrocket<g>.

Hi dennis

Yes .. I know that you have done well.

CSCO is a good company. And there are several other good companies that have a fluff element built into their price.

This I know for a fact. Market crashes never take place without large segments of the general public being taken for a ride. The market is not a benevolent society.
