What is their plan?

The plan seems to be developed into a Home Sopping Network but with stores to deliver the goods cheaper and more effectively. The danger is running it without quality control. Which is the cost effectiveness of the merchandise gross profit vs. advertizing expenses.

HSN has www.hsn.com also. But they don't have stores, so the cost of shipping adds to the consumers' bill. They also may not have to own their own warehouses. SMC has to look at the possibility for their small vendors to rent the SMC warehouse to stock the merchandises for direct shipping to customers from web orders or TV and cable orders.
