J. Straus President of JDSU on "Rob TV" (Canadian TV) this morning --taped interview.

Did not say much too much.
He did say they are always on the lookout for new technologies that could threaten their business. He sees nothing out there that has the same potential of what they have.

They are always on the lookout for new technologies that could be worth acquiring.

Also stated they will do whatever it takes to "win".
Like I said, he did not say much in Part 1 of the interview. Don't know when Part II will be aired.

Thanks William,

I found the URL last night. And this is the interesting part. Since I knew that Gilder is a Forbes pundit, I first went there and did a search. No cigar. Then tried Dogpile which hit paydirt at GoTo.com. You gotta wonder what kind of a lame search engine Forbes is using. Or maybe not.......
