I should have qualified my post. I agree with you comments but only as so far if there is a lack of news available during the options expiry period, the last week.

I have been in far too many stocks and calls and have seen the same pattern develop over years to believe otherewise. And then suddenly the following week the stock moves in positive direction. I do not want to insist that this is the case all the time because it certainly is not, but has occurred enough to me over the years that I trade accordingly with this in mind.

I often hear comments regarding the inability for MM to manipulate the big stocks, (ie. with large floats). I do not believe it. Certainly the ability maybe lessened but it is still done. As I am sure you are aware, it is in the interests of the MM to take out as many strike prices as possible.

We shall need to agree to disagree on this one. It will be interesting to see what the stock does next week.
