A wise investor might want to consider how they would be impacted if Intel actually get's this right.

Getting it right is a relative term. Intel may have planned on selling 600 MHz parts in Q4, and 700 MHz parts in Q1 00. So maybe they got it right from their point of view.

But getting it right in a race means finishing before your opponent, so it doesn't just depend on you.

For Intel to recapture the lead also depends on AMD not doing well in the future.
