Check the wsj.com link about two of my posts back. Last time it was this high was around 1987. However, wrt to market valuation, it is not even close to the levels of the late 20s.

i don't think it has ever been this high...i'll have to check on the exact '20's figures, but it's now at 2,6% of GDP...it was 0,9% of GDP just before the '87 crash.
