This is a product for developers of embedded applications for use on DSP chips, primarily Infineon chips. These tools allow developers to quickly and easily build the programs that do TTS and ASR. This is big news however, as developers implementing solutions around these Infineon embedded controllers will first be directed toward the Fonix tools for adding Speech support. So, you see only the developers will be using this on Win 2K. You will be using the end product when you tell your copy machine to make a two hundred copies of a report, or your personal communicator to contact your friend. Hope that clears it up a bit.
