I say we split 100:1 and become a tout stock.

DS, I appoint you to make a daily posting that will say "NTAP poised to breakout to $3 range!!!!!!!" and I will reply with "Shorts are holding us down again!"

:-)

(Recently had the experience of explaining to a new investor who wants to buy penny stocks why a stock selling for $1/share is not necessarily cheaper -- in fact is usually more expensive -- than a stock selling for $100/share)

It is safe to say that if you understand CSCO's stock split philosophy, then you understand NTAP's.

Last week's CSCO decision to split was a surprise to me, but fit their philosopy of keeping the stock price below 100.

For that reason I will not be surprised to see a NTAP split.
