I don't know because that would be human psyc. i.e. you look at your stock account erode and remember that you borrowed that money that is melting away and try and cut your losses.

I would think this would be a much more powerful motivator than watching your profits melt away and try and lock them in and incur a tax liability. But people like to ignore nightmare news as long as possible and then there is that Myth that the market always bounces back.

So in a few words, I don't know. -g-
