Teleglobe was purchased by BCE today. Could HLIT be a big winner in the deal? Seeing that Teleglobe is a Cyberstream customer??? Here's a clip of the announcement....

"...In an interview with Reuters, BCE President and Chief Executive Jean Monty said the Teleglobe acquisition would allow BCE to reach beyond Canada's borders and expand its ``connectivity' in data and Internet telecom services, including electronic commerce.

``Teleglobe is one of the largest global Internet networks in the world. So we get to be positioned in one shot, in one
transaction, on our core competency beyond the borders of Canada.....

...Monty added that BCE is ``totally committed' to Teleglobe's $4.5 billion ``GlobeSystem' plan to provide 160 cities around the world with integrated Internet, data, video and voice networks based on broadband service platforms....."

Thoughts, Opinions, Anyone?
