I am not sure how much additional revenue Clarify-NT synergy will kick in (probably won't add that much to the revenue growth simply due to the law of large NT numbers) but the profitability of CLFY business will add a nice margin boost to NT.

Also, if CLFY is tightly integrated into NT's network applications and infrastructure, the real benefit of the CLFY acquisition may lie in how it will help pull through more networking gear sales for NT where the big bucks are.

This point is especially true for the emerging new ISP/Carrier market where basically NT is building their new network from scratch so if CLFY front-end application is tightly integrated and sold together with the NT back-end networking products --- voila -- you have a network product offering which is completely differentiated from Cisco and LU's proposal.

This to me could be a real value-added driver that will add to the acquisition of CLFY.

NT is certainly not missing a beat as they appear to be on the forefront of virtually any new technology/business model that is springing up these days!

Execution will be key of course but I have good confidence in NT engineers and support people as it was always strong in technology and weak in marketing. Looks like marketing and strategic corporate development is finally catching up the propeller heads in the backrooms of NT!
