"Dr. Grove also demonstrated the first production-level Pentium® III processor-based systems that run at 1 GHz, to be introduced in limited quantities shortly." Not Q3, nope - NOW! I saw this during the talk... but the real surprise is what Albert mentioned during the end of the talk: The entire Powerpoint presentation was running on a Willy. Think of it. First silicon and they're betting the entire presentation on the chip. It's one thing to make a quicky 2 minute demo and say "wow, that's fast" it's another thing to use it for a couple of hours. In my mind, that's the important news. Having fun in Palm Springs... Haim
